With Eltinge’s spirit in mind, Tooker produced her first brunch in 2015. “ Newsweek magazine called him the ‘RuPaul of the early 20th Century,'” she says. Tooker says the idea first came to her when she was contacted by the ghost of Julian Eltinge, a well-known female impersonator from the early 20th century.
